London Euston Car Parking

It seems like a curios concept to park at a station and seems to go against many of the reasons that people choose to use a train. The whole point of there being trains is so that people don’t have to use their cars to travel, so it seems odd that people would drive to a station, only to leave their car and catch a train to their destination; surely it wouldn’t be difficult to stay in the car and drive all the way to your destination; it would certainly cut down on the cost that you are paying for a return ticket, as well as cut down on the waiting time that so often comes with trying to use a service that is as temperamental as the average teenager! Yet, people choose to drive to the station because it is much more convenient than walking there. After a long day you don’t want to be walking back home; particularly as the weather in Britain will probably result in it raining as soon as you start walking, regardless of how glorious the weather had been up to that point!

By parking at the station you make things much easier for yourself. There is no problem in terms of finding a space as there are more than enough for everyone who wants to park. It is also surprisingly cheap, with a day costing less than £1 per hour. Do not feel bad about parking at the station; it makes thing a lot easier!

Euston Car Park Charges

Euston Station is one the premier stations for those travelling to or from London. In particular, if you are travelling from London to somewhere else you will need somewhere to leave your car. Fortunately parking in Euston is relatively plentiful (compared to some other sites in London) as it close to the West End; a short trip down Euston Road will lead you to some of the best theatre in the country and they need parking galore on show night. The closest ones are operated by National Car Parks LTD (perhaps the largest and most trusted car park operator in the country) and can be found dotted around the West End. The charges here vary from £2.70 to £4 per hour, however if you are staying for 24 hours the charges become much more acceptable with a 24 hour stay costing £20 or less – this works out to under £1 per hour.

There is another excellent car park located near Kings Cross Station and St Pancras Station, which is easily accessible from Euston. It is operated by Kings Cross Parking and is a little-known secret to those who aren’t from the local area. It is outside of the congestion zone, so you won’t get charged for driving your car around there, and parking can be found for under £20 per day. As it is an independent company, there are opportunities to negotiate prices if you wish to stay there for long periods of time, or if you stay there regularly. Simply talk to the parking attendants upon your arrival.
